60th wedding anniversary
60th wedding anniversary
Grace and I went over to Cerritos saturday afternoon for my grandparent’s 60th wedding anniversary. The decorations were very nice. Flowers atop the tables, and a palmtree setup made out of pineapples. The trunk was made of pineapples that had the cores dug out so they could cover a pole of some sort. And then there were leaves on top of it. And this killer slide show that could bring the sentimental to tears, or melt. And must I say this one more time… FILIPINO FOOD IS THE SHIZNIT!
Bonfire Saturday Night
Bonfire Saturday Night
Grace and I watched BEING JOHN MALKOVICH at her place. It was a strange movie let me tell you! I sort of liked it though. I remember when Grace first described the movie to me. I thought it was weird. But after seeing it, I KNOW it is weird. We made pancakes for breakfast. I’ve never made pancakes before.
We arrived at the beach around 5:30 PM to meet up with Steve, Kim, Danielle, Jennifer and the rest of the crew. Balboa beach was slammin with great waves. Me and Steve tossed the football in the ocean. The waves served as tacklers. The bonfire was awesome. Haven’t been to one of those in awhile. Minus the giant one in Spain I was at.
