Welcome to 42nd Street!
Welcome to 42nd Street!
I drove to downtown LA to meet up with Grace at the Ahmanson Theatre. It has been a while since I’ve last hung out in Downtown. Me and Grace bought tickets for only 12 dollars. Can you believe that!? It was well worth it. The melodies, the orchestra pit playing tunes such as “we’re in the money”, and the extraordinary choregraphed dances awed the audience in wonderment. We both agreed that the musical was awesome. I recommend you to see it mannnn! The one song I liked the most, I discovered, is not from the original musical. It was added by Mark Bramble. Here are a few lyrics from a song “I only have eyes for you“:
How the stars are out tonight
I don’t know if it’s cloudy or bright,
But I only have eyes… for you.
The moon may be bright
But i can’t see a thing in the sky
Cause I only have eyes for you
How can i live a day
Without you?
I need your love to see me through.
You’re not here by my side
Maybe millions of people pass by
But they all disappear
From view!!!
Cause I only have eyes for you
