Christian Video Games Gone EVIL

It's 5:46 PM and I am sitting at home watching television with my parents. A brief segment came on the World News segment covering a video game called Left Behind: Eternal Forces. Here is the game description on the game:

"Wage a war of apocalyptic proportions in LEFT BEHIND: Eternal Forces - a real-time strategy game based upon the best-selling LEFT BEHIND book series created by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. Join the ultimate fight of Good against Evil, commanding Tribulation Forces or the Global Community Peacekeepers, and uncover the truth about the worldwide disappearances!"

I find the gratuitious killing in the video game a bit ironic against traditional values of Christianity. Apparently the game developers believe players will learn the value of Prayer, and not violence. In fact they also go on to say violence has consequences: you lose 'spirit' points. Apparently the more effective strategy is to use the power of prayer.

In the game your character can convert non-believers into true Christians before the Apocalypse is complete.

Hate to say it... but doesn't this sound like Christian JIHAD?
